The KAZA-TFCA offers a wide range of privately owned accommodation facilities spread across the TFCA. From Budget Camping to Luxurious Five Star Safari lodges, The KAZA-TFCA has it all for you.
Nestled within KAZA’s boundaries are two of Africa’s biggest tourist attractions. The Victoria Falls is both a World Heritage Site and one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The Okavango Delta, the largest inland delta and a World Heritage Site, is a magical place where large-scale migrations of mega fauna take place annually.
This vast expanse is richly endowed with a great diversity of ecosystems and landscapes. These range from the dense and dark canopy of the tropical, dry-forest of north-western Zambia, through a mosaic of woodlands, to sun-soaked tides of rolling grasslands, the parched vastness of Makgadikgadi and drifts of waterlilies floating on papyrus and reed-shrouded, shimmering wetlands.
It spans an area of approximately 520 000 km² and includes 36 proclaimed protected areas such as national parks, game reserves, forest reserves, community conservancies and game/wildlife management areas.
